This is a very nice and quiet RV park off the beaten path. The entrance is completely covered by trees and wide enough for one large rig, makes you wonder "What did I just turn in to?" Keep going: it'll be fine. It looks like all the lake-front sites are taken by permanent residents. "Big rig" access means different things to different people. Our 40' MH fit nicely into a double space which made it a pull-through. Anything larger may be a problem. Friendly staff made our stay great for a few days.

Very nice park with friendly staff. Will fit any size MH or fiver with pull-throughs or back-ins. Call office if you want a satellite friendly spot. Reservations usually required way in advance.

Rate reflects the monthly rate. Monthly rental fee includes $120 of electric usage, which should be enough for most campers (changed after initial $65 usage announced). Sites are metered now and anything above $120 in electric cost for each site will be charged to that camper. I think this is very fair and it's also the way most RV parks are going across the country. This is a great place to hang out with super friendly staff, garbage pick-up, wide paved sites, etc.

Easy access from I-20, big rig friendly, friendly staff. This is a great place for an overnighter or to stay for a few days if you need to be in the area. 100' pull-throughs and about 24 yards between pads. Cement patios with lots of green grass between lots. We would stay here again.

Way over priced for what you get. Be advised that they charge you $50 if you need to cancel a reservation, even with a three month advanced notice. We won't stay here again & certainly won't make reservations for a winter stay in advance again.

This place is actually in Byram, MS. Easy access off I-55 for big rigs with 100+' cement pad pull-throughs. Gravel roads. Friendly staff. Great for an over nighter. You'll have to drive through a mini strip mall to get to park which is behind the mall. Almost didn't see it. BBQ, Mexican and seafood eateries within walking distance of park (in the mall). We would stay here again.

Easy access for big rigs with lots of pull-throughs. All sites are paved. Friendly staff and we would stay here again. The con to this park is that the spaces are so close together. This is a good 1 or 2 night spot, but IMO not a place to stay for any length of time because of the size of the lots. NOTE: My Garmin GPS wanted to direct me through some back streets to the park from Hwy-101. For better access: If north bound on Hwy-101, turn right on W. Devils Lake RD and the park is located 500 yards down the road on the right hand side.

Just way too windy here because it's right on the river. Rocks the RV like crazy. Sites are surrounded by landscaping rocks that are about 2 feet high and very narrow making it hard to even step out your door in a 40' RV. I'd rather boon dock somewhere else. Not really big rig friendly IMO.

I don't give a "10" often, but this is one nice park and it deserves it. Super friendly staff, big rig friendly with concrete pads and patios. Lush green grass between sites that aren't crowded together. Well done!

One of the better parks for big rig access in the area. Sites are a pretty close together. Good for an over nighter.

Super friendly staff, level graveled parking spaces that's convenient to I-80) Note: Do not use a GPS for directions. Get info from the web site: Exit #22 off I-80. Big rig friendly, but if you have a toad & leave it attached, it will hang out a little past the marked site. No big deal - plenty of room. This was a great over night spot. We'd stay here again.

This park has level gravel sites and paved roads with friendly staff. Easy access for big rigs (back-ins only), decent pet walk, & good cable TV selection. Rigs with slide-outs get TWO spaces (because the single spaces are narrow) which was really nice because it gave you room for the car and chairs. The Golden Gate bridge has a $4.00 toll for south bound traffic, but NO toll for north bound traffic (US-101), so getting back to the park is free! Read park web site for directions to park. My Garmin GPS wanted me to take some strange turns off I-880, so I used a MAP to get to the bridge and once I got over the bridge the Garmin did just fine. The ferry into town is only one mile away and it dumps you at the ferry building downtown. From there you can bus your way, ride the trolley cars ($5.00 a person now) or catch the subway.

Rate reflects RPI rate after added surcharges for elect., cable TV and a river view lot. Big rigs be advised that the entrance is a u-turn from the access road so swing wide from the left side of the road to make the turn into the park. Friendly staff, nice dog walk area, clean facilities and a spectacular view of the Klamath River. River view sites are 30 amp only, but even in June, there was no need for AC. Closest major shopping is 25 miles north in Crescent City, but a small market is in Klamath. It's very peaceful here and we would stay again.

Easy access off Hwy 101 for big rigs with lots of pull-throughs. Friendly staff. Concrete or black-top parking pads & patios. Some sites have shade trees and are separated by hedges which give you good privacy. Shopping is six miles away in Gilroy and Big Sur is 60 miles south off US-1 ( take the car, not the RV!). We would stay here again anytime. Recommend that you take the "17 Mile Drive" through Pebble Beach. It cost $9.25 to the state of CA, but the views and homes ($35 million+) are incredible. Rate reflects Escapee discount.

One of the few state parks that are easy access for big rigs. We liked this place and would stay again. One caution: two of my neighbors had their coolers stolen ( one had beer in it & the other food) during the night. Lock up anything that someone can carry away. Park rangers said, "It was common." Sigh.

What everyone else said... just an outstanding RESORT in the truest sense! If one were to do a Google search for "rv lots for rent" you may find 1 or 2 web sites where owners list their lot for rent privately for less than the $77 a night if you rent through the office. This place is empty in May because it starts getting hot. We felt like we had our private RV Park and loved it.

One of the most pleasant stays we've ever had. Easy access for any size rig just off Hwy 91. This place also had the largest size camping spots we've ever seen with lot's of trees and green grass. I was amazed at the distance between RVs. We have family about 20 miles away and I will stay here again the next time we visit the area because it's worth the drive.

Easy access for big rigs & super friendly staff. My Garmin GPS gave me incorrect directions to park entrance, so double check yours if you use one! Rate reflects C2C membership. The swimming pool and hot tub work just fine! Nice club house too. FYI - You may or may not have internet if you use an air card depending where you park. We were in between two small hills, so I had to walk to a higher point (to the clubhouse) to get my network connection. No big deal. This place has wide paved streets with level & graveled parking spaces with a cement patio. It's minutes away from Laughlin,NV where you can find 2-for-1 buffets and $9.99 prime rib dinners at the casinos. If you visit this area take the car ( not the RV!) on a 20 miles drive to Oatman,AZ located on Route 66 and see donkeys walking the streets in an old mining town that still looks the same as it did 80 years ago. It was the most interesting place we've seen in a year. Worth the trip! We would stay here again.

Wow. This is only my 2nd "10" I've given to a park in 12 months of being on the road. It's beautiful. Grass, trees, friendly staff & singing birds everywhere. You'll need a satellite TV because there's no cable though. Be sure and make reservations as far ahead as possible because this is a popular place!

Easy access for big rigs. A good place for 1 or 2 nights, but not much longer because of the design of the parking spaces: no room for chairs, grills, etc. If you want to see the Grand Canyon via a train ride, then this place is OK. The pet walk is around the perimeter of the lot and is filled with gravel which makes it not so pet friendly. We kenneled our dog when we went to the Canyon for the day. We had a bad experience with this place because it appeared that they had forgot to feed him all day because his food was still in a bag that we had left. They said he just didn't eat, but our dog will eat anytime, and anything. To their credit, they refunded us the cost of the kennel. The train ride to the Canyon is interesting. I'd do it again for sure because the traffic at the Canyon is unbelieveable nowdays. Just take lot's of dollar bills with you because they have cowboy singers, and cowboy robbers on the train (like a show) and they work for tips. Not complaining. Just passing info :)

Not many people here at the end of April! Friendly staff. This park has graveled parking spaces with black top patios. Fairly easy access for big rigs in the upper area. Upper area has 50 amp and that's why it costs an extra $7 a day. Lower area is 30 amp only with smaller spaces (older section). Because of the park location, the wind blows here 24/7 so be prepared for that. Nice hot water in the pool and hot tub which both use natural hot springs for heating.

For $15 a night and within walking distance of downtown this is an OK place. See web site for specific directions as the park is one block from the hotel. Sites are narrow, so there's no room for chairs and grills but you're in Las Vegas so who cares? I'd stay here again.

BIG RIGS: Do NOT use GPS to find park from I-17. It'll take you through a neighborhood. Recommend following directions found on web site ( Come in on W. Horseshoe Bend off Hwy 260). Very friendly staff with easy access for big rigs. We stayed in the lower section that had a small stream behind us, but there's no sewer by the stream. Satellite worked great. Walmart, Home Depot, etc. 11 miles away in Cottonwood. We liked this place and would stay here again.

Easy access for big rigs, located just off I-10 so it is great for an over night stay. Level pull-through sites with gravel lots and a cement patio with table. Denny's and Jack-in-the-Box across the street within walking distance. I would stay here again. I used Passport America for a discount.

OK for big rigs. Super friendly staff and they do everything they can for you. I had a minor problem with draining my tanks as the sewer drains REAL slow so test it first by draining your grey tank before you dump your black tank! Changes the whole experience if you dump black first! As the others say, this park is a little dusty, and 18 miles to the Caverns. BUT - there IS parking for buses/RV's at the entrance to the cave at the top of the mountain (NOT White City!). I saw several 40+ foot RV's there and a couple of big buses. Just a few miles to the entrance from the state park gate. Just a FYI note for you. Unfortunately it appears to me that the city of Carlsbad is in a decline. There were several "suggested" restaurants/diners that were closed for business which limits available eateries in town. Sad. I don't think I'd opt to stay here again. I'd boon-dock, go see the caverns for the day (which is easy to do) and get back on the road. Just my 2¢ though.

Weekly rate=$34/night. My 1st 10 given to a park. This place is very very nice! Each spot has tall plants between rigs so it's like you have your own patio with privacy. Nice dog run. Rigs park back-to-front so the neighbors sewer hose isn't next to your table. Oh yeah - bring a table if you need one. Many parks do not have one for every spot. The hot tub is huge and most importantly - hot! Nice exercise room. We stayed in a regular pull-through which is plenty wide enough for us. We extended our stay here because of the area and the park amenities. Don't forget the continental breakfast every morning!

If you drive a 38' MH (or larger) or a large 5th wheeler, you're going to have disconnect your tow car so your car/truck doesn't stick out in the road. This park has spots that were designed before rigs got over 38' or so I think. Otherwise the park was clean, had a friendly staff and was a good overnight spot. Because I had to unhook my tow car even with the pull-through (40' MH) I probably would not stay here again. The spot was just too short for my rig.

Easy access for big rigs. Wide & level gravel sites which keeps the dust down. Roswell is a great place to visit.

Easy access for big rigs and convenient to Pheonix if you need to be downtown. Friendly staff & level gravel sites with ample space between units. The town of Buckeye has everything you'd need just 2 miles down the road: Lowe's, Wal-Mart, plenty of restaurants, etc. All the shops were built around 2007 so it's all nice & new. We would stay here again!

This is a very nice park with friendly staff and clean facilities with easy access for big rigs - BUT watch out for one low branch at entrance! We opted to stay in the premium camping spots where our space was DOUBLED - you get two lots. Huge patio! I guess the people who complained about being too close to their neighbor were parked in the $18 a night PA sites. You get what you pay for. Park location is two exits south of major shopping, i.e. Walmart, Home Depot, etc. and about 15 minutes from downtown San Antonio. I'd stay here again.

Easy access in and out for big rigs, but this park is having trouble with costs as are so many others now days. No more wi-fi, the grass needs cutting all over, etc. Wide sites with cement pads for parking and a large patio for grilling. We would stay here again.

Nice park with plenty of space between units. Very friendly staff and neighbors too. Rigs park on the grass and then you have a full size cement patio to step on during your stay. Lot's of Winter Texans here. We would stay here again if we were to ever visit the RGV again, which we won't. Too windy for us!

Nice,clean park with friendly staff. Lots of Winter Texans here! Sites are a little narrow and the cable TV does not yet work, but you do have a clear view with a satellite. The manager is doing a great job landscaping and working on small issues since Ike. The only con (not reflected in my rating) would be that if you have a pet, the designated dog walk is an area behind in the back of the park and it is full of those Texas "stickers" and it's impossible for a pet to walk without stepping on them. We started walking our dog in better/greener grass (had been watered) next to camping spots and got yelled at by some guests a couple of times. I just ignored them :) I'd stay here again.

Easy access for any size big rigs both on and off I-37, which makes it perfect for a night or two. This place is a RV dealer with a park in the back so if you need some service or RV supplies, then it's convenient! Very friendly staff and the spots aren't that bad either. We're hanging out for 2 days to just take a break. Try the BBQ place in town - it's great. We'd stop by again.

Big rigs over 38' or so ( especially towing a toad or larger 5th wheels) be careful turning the corner in front of the office upon arrival. There's a fence on the left and a tree on the turn you'll need to miss! Quiet park located off I-10. Friendly staff. Nice place to spend the night or a weekend. Spaces are pretty close together - maybe 6' after the slides are out. Level graveled parking spots. I'd stay here again.

Easy access for big rigs. I don't know where the previous comment came from. This gated park has a brand new section that will hold any size rig. Double cement pads to park your rig and a car on, with paved roads throughout. There is plenty of room between sites with grass. An escort is provided to help you park. The office staff is friendly. It is close to stores, restaurants, and etc. I'd stay here again anytime.

This is a great place to stay. friendly staff. Cement pads & paved streets. Fence = security, but it's not in a very bad neighborhood ( I've seen worse!). Easy in and out for big rigs, 5 miles from major shopping and resturants. I'd stay here again anytime.

Convenient place for an overnight stay from what we saw. Close to I-10, so there's a little road noise. Pull-throughs are grass/gravel and easy in & out for big rigs. We would stay here again for an overnight stay only.

We did not stay here, but previewed it as a possible place to stay while visiting friends on Amelia Island. Tell the gate guard you want to preview the camping sites to avoid paying the $5 entrance fee and you'll get a 30 minute pass. The park is beautiful with a canopy of Oak trees & moss completely across the main entrance road to RV parking. But because of the tree canopy over the road, I would not take my 40' RV into this park. I did see 3 35 foot (or so) RV's on the beach side camping area and just wondered how he made it to the parking spot without taking off an Air conditioner on the roof. He must have done lots of careful weaving through the over hanging tree limbs that's for sure. If I were in a Class C or smaller, I would stay here because of the scenery, but as with most state parks - not easy access for "big rig" motorhomes. No sewer here either, but a dump station close by on premises. That's my 2¢.

Quick access of I-295 with easy access for big rigs ( 40'+) in certain sites. Paved roads and paved patios on about 1/2 of the park. The only complaint I had was the always low water pressure. I had to leave my pump on to maintain water pressure to take showers. You can pay a couple of bucks for water to wash your car and/or RV which I really liked. I wish more parks would allow that! Still a C2C and RPI park. Easy access for big rigs IF sites are available - since people pick out their own spots, the office doesn't really know who is parked where. Satellite TV works fine, friendly staff and a well maintained camp ground. Big rigs may have to work a little to get level depending if you have a pull through or a back-in. Spaces are a little close: if there were someone next to us, their hook-ups would be next to our picnic table. About 14 miles from shopping (WalMart) and a mvie theater in Cave City. It's a nice quiet place to hang out.

Easy access for big rigs. Well kept campground & friendly staff. I would have given this place a 10, but because of the road noise 24/7 from I-65 it got a 9. Noise wasn't TOO bad, just always in the background. BIG catfish & bass in the private lake that you can eat is a plus! Lot's of DVD rentals available in the office. If you stay longer than a couple of days, ask for a lot as far from the interstate that you can get, or a pull in that faces the lake. Two truck stops for fuel within 1 mile. We would stay here again.

Some sites TV satellite friendly. I wish they had 50 amp service which would make summer stays cooler for big rigs with 2 or more AC's for hotter days. Nice space between sites, great water pressure, some sites with 10x10 cement step-off pads at door. About 15 miles from Crossville for shopping. I would stay here again anytime!

We did not stay here, but previewed it prior to a 2 week stay in the South Haven area. It was a very well kept park, but very few spaces were open and I would NOT want to try and back anything larger than 35' or so into most of the spots. There were many trees that would be a problem with manuvering.

Very nice park. Easy access for big rigs with pull throughs or slanted back ins. Close to interstate. Paved parking pads with grass in between. No shade trees yet ( young trees) so satellite worked well. Daily trash pick-up, ice pool. Fast food ( Taco Bell, Burger King, etc.) right next door & down town Monroe only 2 miles away. We would stay here again.

Easy in and out for big rigs. Great staff provides assistance backing into sites and will go out of their way to help you with any problems. Morning curb side trash pick-up makes it easy to take the trash out! Emergency "Salisbury RV Repair" master mechanic will come to your site if you need anything fixed. I would give this place a 10 out of 10 except that the lots were a "little" close together for me... but it's also a great way to meet new neighbors, so there's good with the bad. We had some fun "cock tail hours" here. I would definitely stay here again. It's about 1.5 miles from Salisbury Beach. Walk to ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs, fried clams & fish , etc. right next door at a local joint - very good!

Very nice KOA. Easy in & out for big rigs. They had a "steak night" cookout when we were here :) Pond is HUGE and a great place for kids to swim if needed. Friendly staff provided escort to site with no need to unhook toad if you're in a pull through. We would stay here again.

Beautiful campground. Easy in & out for big rigs. We thought the spaces were wide enough and not cramped. If in a Class C or smaller, get a spot on the river - it's worth it! Herkimer Diamond mine across the street and lot's of activities for kids if needed. Level graveled sites with grass. We would stay here again.

We loved this brand new campground too. Easy in and out for big rigs (+38'). Super friendly, family owned RV park. The campground is clean & well manicured, nice playground for kids if needed. Future expansion plans will include a pool. Morning trash pick-up, open sky for satellite TV, a pig roast on Labor Day, close to downtown South haven. NOTE: If you want a pull through, stay to the RIGHT on the road, stop & walk to the office to register - otherwise you will have to back up a little to be pointed in the right direction! Best big rig spot: #21. We would happily stay here again.

BIG RIGS BEWARE! it takes a lot to make me mad, but this place managed it. If you have a camper longer than 30', then you need to avoid this place... there's no way you can get level if you're longer than 30'. NO gravel in the parking spaces, muddy back-ins, rude staff - and just plain nasty seasonals. The grass was 2' high around everything. I had reservations and left when I saw what was available. I wouldn't boon dock in this place if THEY paid ME! The "manager" told me, "We have spots - find a place and park." Are you kidding me? Avoid this camp ground.

Made reservations for my 40' RV. Could NOT fit in any of their "big rig" spaces. Great campground for RV's less than 35' though. Very friendly staff.

Nice and quiet. Easy access from road, EASY parking for big rigs; campsites in the back by the brook are wonderful - big and fairly private. Probably not a good place for campers with kids because of no pool, but perfect for us. We look forward to our next stay.

Very nice campground that sits on top of a hill. Lot's of weekend activities planned for kids (of which there were plenty) i.e. hayrides, Karaoke, etc. Bingo at night too. Friendly staff escorted us to site which were grass in lieu of gravel. Super Wal-Mart 10 miles away in Ware, MA. Satellite reception not so good because of trees. Easy in & out for 40'+ rigs. Big rigs are advised to arrive from the SOUTH via Monson/Brimfield Rd. due to narrow roads and low trees on other in-bound roads. We would stay here again.

What a great campground! Off the beaten path ( really quiet), clean facilities and a nice fishing lake. Family activities planned every weekend (we had a band playing for us and a pancake breakfast on Sun. morning). Lot's of tree cover, so no satellite reception. We were able to pick up 3 channels on local TV though. This is a place where you stock up on groceries, bring a few good books, a fishing pole and just relax. There is a small store on site for staples i.e. bread, milk, ice cream, etc. in case you forget something though. The only reason this place didn't get a 10 from us was the limited spots that a RV over 35' could easily get into. But the owners are working on this small issue to create some larger spots. Big rigs - be sure and take your toad to PREVIEW your assigned camp spot! Best spot for 38'-40': back into #303. We have a 40' RV. New owners are doing a great job! We would stay here again anytime.

Very nice park. Every space seems to have some privacy with trees/bushes in between each one. I have a 40' MH and never could get level. The grade was too severe front to back AND side to side. That's why this place gets a 7 from me. I asked to move (stayed for 7 days) but they only had 2 available spots and they were worse than the one I had. We can hear the road noise from Hwy 15 ( we are located at the very rear of the park), but it's not unbearable. Probably will not stay here again based on the leveling issues from poorly graded spots for 40'+ MH's.

Big rigs - be careful driving the last 2 miles to this park. Fairly narrow road into & out of park. Two 40 footers meeting head on could be ( I think WOULD be) a problem. I'm having my wife follow me out in the toad in case I have to back up somewhere on my way out. I was not too impressed with this "resort." Camp host gave us a map and pointed "..that way ->" & and it took us 15 minutes to find our site. Glad we took the car to look for it because we ended up at tent sites and wouldn't have been able to turn our MH around. This place desperately needs a host to guide you to your site. Sites pretty close together; no antenna TV and if you get shade - no satellite TV so they charge you $4 a day for cable because they can... and the reception of the cable TV is fuzzy. Bring your extra leveling blocks cause you will need them on some sites. It's pretty hilly. Nice pool, nice gift shop and there's local general store a couple of miles from camp. Major grocery store is 13 miles away. We won't stay here again though.

Great spot to stay to see the falls. We stayed for 2 nights only. Spaces are VERY close together so there's no privacy, hence my rating compared to the cost. Grass in between each space. Free Wi-fi, clean pool, laundry room on-site, resturants close by if needed.

Stayed for 3 days in May 2008. Lot's of shaded parking, but if in a big rig, some low branches could be a problem so be careful. Recommend a trip in the golf cart to preview your assigned lot. Only a few pull-throughs, but plenty of nice back-ins. We liked this place. Not many campers here this time of year so we fely as if we were all alone. Very friendly staff, and clean facilities. Pool was perfect, hot tub worked great, but I think it falls a little short of a "resort." All spaces are hard packed dirt. Be sure and visit Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park .

Nice KOA to park for awhile. A little tight for big rigs (over 38') on some pull throughs, but if you're careful there's no problem. Easy access off I-26 ( the Charleston location off Hwy 78) and a friendly staff to greet you and lead you to your campsight. We would stay here again.

Great park with easy back in access for big rigs. Tiered sites that overlook the river. We paid an extra $2.50 a night for a wider lot down close to the river. Very friendly staff, garbage pick-up 4-5 times a day. Sites are gravel and level. We would stay here again anytime.
